The Rebellion Way

Jul 3, 2025 | blog, Norfolk - The Rebellion Way

The Rebellion Way is a 230 mile circular cycle tour of Norfolk that passes through Diss near to home which makes it an ideal tour. From home to home on a bike with panniers – no car, no train, no bus, just me and my bike.

The main towns on tour are Diss, Thetford, Swaffham, King’s Lynn, Hunstanton, Wells-next-the Sea, Sheringham, Aylesham and Norwich although if somewhere looks more interesting or less boring I will be adaptable!

Rebellion Way map

I have split the trip across 4 days.

Monday – Wingfield to Swaffham – 65 miles

Tuesday – Swaffham to Burnham Market – 59 miles

Wednesday – Burnham Market to Sheringham – 53 miles

Thursday – Sheringham to Wingfield – 70 miles

I will be riding my Forme Monyash gravel bike as being a little more robust it is best suited to carrying a rack with panniers on some of the off-road sections through Thetford Forest and along sections of The Peddars Way.
