Day 11 – Mont Ventoux

Here are few more pictures:

I did a ‘Froome’ and ran up:

This is not quite as it appears. As Sue and Julie approached we were concerned they would stop by the vans and not continue for another 100m to the official finish line so I ran back down to yell at them to continue and then ran back up to greet them at the line.

Sue and I at the summit with warm stuff on for the descent – it was cold and quick!

Terry and Julie celebrating the climb. Unfortunately Terry’s broken ribs stopped him riding but not from cheering us up to the summit.

Sue, Julie and I just about recovering. Terry had brought a bottle of champagne in anticipation.

Mont Ventoux from the Sault side. Bleak or what!?

Thanks – Sue was very impressive. You can’t tell from the pictures just how much she gave to that challenge. Hope everyone is well.
