One week after the end of my ride from New Orleans to Minneapolis when hopefully my leg muscles are talking to me again, and Butt Balm, rehydration, and recovery supplies are replenished Sue and I depart for Caen in Normandy for our journey to Nice.

Our tour summary is:

We will be riding with four friends who we rode with in Italy last year – Julie, Terry, John and Richard – in a group of 25 including 6 folks from Colorado in the US.

After gathering in Portsmouth we will take the ferry over to Caen and on Saturday morning the adventure begins.
